to have a blood sample taken to test my high and low cholesterol,
so we will call back next week for the results, next stop the battery shop on the Sumkivitt road,
I am guessing the shop must be fairly good as Pattaya City sea rescue use it,
so bonnet up and old battery out,
and the new one installed as quick as a flash, so hopefully no more problems having to charge the battery up after not using the truck for a few weeks, the price of the battery was 3,500 baht,
this is the shops card,
and map of where they are,
next stop the dentist, to have my tooth replaced so at least I don't give a spine chilling leer when I smile! just 200 baht for the procedure,
after calling in at the 7-11 to pay our electricity bill, we made our way to the market,
past boiling oil,
whilst Diana disappear inside the market, I walked along Soi Bukaow to get a better picture of the balloon,
it looks like no customers this morning,
I've taken a few pictures looking down the aisles,
to give you an idea of some the things for sale here,
clothes are of course by far and away the biggest area,
having finally made my way through the clothing section,
I arrived at the far end of the market to where fish,
and plants are sold,
and of course a few garden ornaments,
we had parked in the Friendship car park, so we called in there to buy some French bread for tomorrow's barbecue,
after dropping off our food at home I had to call into the 3BB office,
to pay our Internet bill, already some of the stall holders for the weekend night market are starting to deposit the awnings for their stalls,
some of whom here are having their midday meal at the temporary food stalls, over the course of the afternoon these will disappear to make way for the stall holders that are selling their goods in the evening,
looking towards Jomtien nice blue skies,
but what a difference a few hours makes,
grey cloud has come rolling in and it looks like rain,
opposite the bar this evening there are two stalls selling second-hand clothes,
although we were quite early the food aisles seemed very busy,
the special this week on the slushy stall was melon,
the second food aisle as crowded as the first,
there are even a few customers in the pet section,
sunset over the market,
another stall selling drinks at the far end of the market,
with almost a pick and mix flavour to them with the exception of the coconuts,
the cloud was really rolling in now, this evening we were joined by Mr. Tony and Brian, so we chatted the early part of the evening away then after saying our goodbyes to Brian,
we called home for a delicious Chinese curry that Diana had made for us,
followed by fresh fruit,
we watched a couple of episodes of Pickers then said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony, on our way back to the front door we noticed the frog had return to the garden,
the frog was not that big,
just under a couple of inches long, he seems to blend quite well with the surface,
but sticks out like a sore thumb when he jumped onto one of the blue tiles, we went back inside to watch some more television before deciding to call it a night and then we were off to bed.
