at first I thought they were real,
but they are not, they are tiny sculptural insects and snails on felt balls, textile artist Claire Moynihan lives and works in rural Hertfordshire, England, using a variety of freeform embroidery techniques she makes these life like insects,
she then organises the pieces inside traditional entomological boxes which from a distance could almost pass for the real thing, have a look at her gallery of finished insects here, how absolutely amazing!
