We Thought It Was Going To Rain Yesterday,

but it did not,

today however it made up for it with a vengeance!

I thought we were going to have the street flooded it rained for so long, but the drains managed with the deluge which was a relief,

in the late afternoon we went to the market, tonight we were going to have our Saturday night bar-b-q, with mussels as a starter and here were some that this food stall seller had done earlier,

next door one of the stalls selling fish,

I made my way to the end of the market where water was still pooling, in the distance the Ripley's Believe It Or Not balloon,

with just a couple of customers it appears on board,

a 20 baht per item store had opened up,

with Songkran just around the corner there are lots of colourful clothes to wear,

the choice just for shorts alone seems almost limitless,

lots of foods in the market are already prepared, cooked and just waiting to go like these fish,

 or chickens,

then home and our first course, garlic bread and New Zealand mussels,

 time to light the fire,

and prove yet a again where ever I stand even using the fan to blow the smoke away the smoke always follows me,

 but eventually the smoke cleared,

 and we were in business,

 so on with chicken satay,

yesterday the moon was 93% illuminated but I took a hand held picture of it anyway,

'Cheers!', Diana had also made a peanut sauce to her own recipe and a mixed bowl of chopped onion, cucumber and a few other vegetables as a spicy side salad,

after chatting the night away outside we went back indoors for our dessert, we watched a few from The Chase, a couple from Bones, then for us off to bed.
