during the day I popped out to the local builders merchant, one of the light switches had stopped working, 120 baht later and all was well,
then in the evening we both decided that we fancied an Indian meal, so glad rags on and we were off,
to Ali Baba,
it was my turn to try on the hat,
we were early it was about 6.30 in the evening,
we had the place to ourselves,
we had poppadoms for starters,
a coke for Diana,
and a wine for myself as our prawn puri's arrive,
they were delicious,
for our second starter we chose a must try dish murgh malai chicken,
'Cheers!',
it was advertised on the menu as being very tender, and it was,
next on to our main course,
chicken
tikka masala, chicken jalfrezi, chicken tikka punjabi, aloo gobi, onion bahji and peas pulau rice,
so it was eyes down,
and tuck in,
we had slightly over ordered, as we had planned to take some home with us so we could have an Indian meal at home,
the meal, including more than a few glasses of wine, came to 3,200 baht, but we did have two starters and we have enough for a nice meal for us both next week,
next after another long break, it was over the road,
for the baht bus home,
here is their card,
and map,
when we arrived home we were still so full we did not even think
about the ice creams, but we did watch two episodes of Poirot, Third Girl and Appointment with Death, both of which were very enjoyable, then for us we
were off to bed.
