We Needed Some Chicken,

for tonight's bar-b-q,

and the bike needed some petrol, knowing that we would be going fishing next week I also decided to call into the fishing tackle shop,

the shop is just before the petrol stations on Thepprasit Road and on the same side as you are travelling towards Sukhumvit Road,

so now fuelled up the next stop was to Friendship for the chicken,

work on the building next to it has now begun again,

normally there is a picture or two on the outside of developments but nothing here, I guess it will be a shop of some description,

so in I went, next stop home, Diana marinated the chicken during the day,

we were going to have a feast tonight, Diana had also made some satay sauce for the chicken and a sweet/sour onion salad and given the steaks a good hammering, I know you should not have to hammer a steak, but out here they can be quite tough,

then it was my turn to do something useful, lite the bar-b-q, as usual smoke everywhere,

 oh the look of concentration!

 but it soon took,

rather too well I was beginning to think,

so on with the potato and garlic bread for our starters,

chicken on sticks for our second starter,

 cooked to perfection,

and the sauce and salad were delicious,

after a long break next on with the steaks,

 we decided against any vegetables,

except the potato, we were so full already,

 then for dessert,

a half of a cherry tart each, I had bought it when I was in Friendship, we chatted the evening away listening to music on our small portable speaker, just as we had decided to make a move indoors and had started to take things inside,

we had a surprise visitor, Mad Mick arrived, so we settled down and made a raid on our wine stocks and chatted the rest of the night away, after saying our farewells to him it was late so for us we were off to bed.
