as Nick and Maureen are staying with us and we are out first thing to go fishing,
so for us first thing a stop at the fishing tackle shop on Thepprasit Road,
it is on the same side of the road as the MP petrol station,
looking towards the Sukhumvit Road,
after Nick and Maureen arrived I popped over to Country Favourites, our favourite Indian take away,
it is on Soi BonKai, the view looking towards Soi 17,
and in the opposite direction looking towards,
the Cozy Resort,
as well as a full menu there are daily specials, displayed on a board outside, but every meal is cooked as ordered so be prepared for a slight wait, but the food is freshly cooked as you order it, so it is well worth waiting for,
our order was delivered on time so eyes down and tuck in, starters of poppadom masala, chicken samosa and onion bajhis,
followed by several main courses, all chicken dishes of tikka massala, dopyaza, jalfrezi and madras, also aloo gobi, peas pullao rice and garlic nan bread, delicious, we can not recommend the food for taste and flavor highly enough from Country Favourites,
then on to the serious part of the evening, Monopoly, by a cruel twist of fate I ended up with two complete sets early on, Mayfair and Park Lane the most expensive and beside them the cheapest, Old Kent Road and Whitechapel, between the pair of them it was victory for me, Nick has vowed vengeance tomorrow at the fishing park, we shall see, with a night cap or three we were then off to bed.
