normally with a macro lens, to photograph something really small You have to be really close to Your subject, but with this new lens design from Laowa that could be a problem of the past, the lens is the Laowa 24mm f/14 Relay 2xMacro lens, it has a rather long lens barrel that Laowa says can be used to shoot
shy subjects at difficult spots without scaring them,
the macro lens has a 2:1 maximum macro reproduction ratio,
is resistant to temperature and extreme conditions and it's full-frame
compatible,
when released, it will be available in Canon and Nikon mounts, it is due to be released for sale some time next year, no information on pricing has been released yet, what a strange, unique looking lens.
