The Day Started Early,

with the bug company and kids arriving,

as usual they called the day before,

and were soon spraying the inside and outside of the house,

when they had finished our next stop was to Friendship, dodging the showers,

and a ice tea and coffee to go,

arriving home it was out with 40% of the aquarium water,

 and replace it,

meanwhile Diana was with the help of Mariana and Cable,

 cleaning,

 and refilling the pool,

We had decided to brave the weather and take a trip to the weekend plant market, so into Pattaya's new tunnel we went, and here is the video to see it,

the market as You leave Pattaya to go to Bangkok is just past the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital on the other side of the road, so go past the hospital on your left, take the first U turn going back towards Pattaya and the market will be on Your left,

We both thought this would make a nice Christmas tree,

or perhaps this Norfolk Island pine,

if You have never been here before,

there are about 40 or 50 stalls,

 under canvas,

 selling all manner of plants,

and even miniature gardens,

 and of course orchids,

 lots of orchids,

when ever I see these waterlilies,

I just wish We had a big plot of land with our house,

so We could grow plants like these,

there are a few furniture stalls here as well,

I am guessing they will deliver,

bargain of the day, 3 orchids for 100 baht,

they do sell bigger trees and palms here as well,

 this one,

making a nice pattern where in it's earlier growth the fronds have been cut back,

as I said they are big,

 we past another furniture stall,

and then to one selling garden ornaments,

 a nice group,

 of happy smiling faces,

back to the plants, a few cactus,

and a few more,

 orchids, 25 baht a bunch,

we looked at the aquatic stall,

and bought a couple of black angelfish, (Pterophyllum scalare), and a couple of goldfish, (Carassius auratus),

 back to the plants,

 these looked really colourful,

 and so they should be,

 well they are all plastic,

but they looked great from a distance,

 but these are not plastic,

 real orchids,

 and marigolds,

then a few more plastic ones,

there are also stalls selling pots and planters for your plants,

and there are a few bonsai here as well,

We had come to the end of the stalls, and this is where the food and drink section is,

 and for Us,

 a sit down,

 a look at the menu,

and a ice coffee and tea,

We made our way home, but by now the weather had closed in, so no outside bar-b-q for us tonight,

so inside with a starter of garlic bread, and a small sherry before Our meal,

 followed by scallops and bacon,

'Cheers!',

 in between course,

I took a couple of pictures of one of the goldfish we had bought,

 main course,

fillet of pork with potatoes, bacon and onions,

and as a surprise to Me,

Diana had been sneaky and bought a chocolate cake, delicious! We spent the rest of the evening listening to music, then for Us we were off to bed.
