Day Ten, Glasgow,

only 110 miles today,

and the weather did not look too good,

with low cloud rolling in,

and continuous drizzle,

so it was take a photograph and dry the lens,

repeat after every shot,

but it did not seem to affect Diana's telephone,

as she took shot,

after shot,

back to the car,

but first a quick one of us,

and the car that was going so well,

and another few miles,

it actually stopped raining, so coat off!

time for a stop,

and where should it be?

the Green Welly of course!

we have stopped here before with Steve and Kai,

so we stopped,

back on the road after a snack,

we were soon nearing Loch Lomond,

and decided to stop by the cruise boats on the loch,

it was slightly raining which was not very nice,

but I did get out to stretch my legs,

and take a couple of photographs,

of the hydroelectric generating building,

the view along the loch,

and a panorama of it,

nearby,

lots of bushes heavy with berries,

the undergrowth mainly heather,

it can not be much further,

and it was not,

and comfy it was too,

we checked in,

at the Premier Inn, which was £51.00 a night including breakfast,

I never knew they had vampires here!

we crossed the bridge over the River Clyde,

as we passed,

looking behind a part of a maritime school, these liferafts would normally be found on oil rigs,

looking up river,

a cormorant was fishing,

still wet in the park from this mornings rain which seemed to have followed us,

we were told the main bar/restaurant area was by the clock tower,

but which one?

they seem to be everywhere, another of the Hotel Chocolate chain,

the building ornately decorated,

especially with me in front of it!

we made our way into town,

looking at the most imposing buildings,

this one took my attention, the Shilling Brewing Co, building,

inside it is what I guess you would call a microbrewery,

a quick look at what is on offer,

and a unicorn IPA it was then,

above the bar there are a number of copper vats,

 where the brews are made,

 'Cheers!',

behind me a nice piece of art work

and in front of me a nice piece of a master brewers craft,

what could be better?

as we left the building opposite looked like when it was built,

no expense was spared,

with faces carved above each window,

we passed another clock tower,

and more impressive buildings,

this sort of subway looked neat,

as it appeared to disappear beneath another clock,

and come up again,

some street art,

on the end of a terraces building,

we popped into a local pub for our evening meal,

 prawn cocktail for myself,

 chicken legs for Diana,

 for Diana's main, mixed kebabs,

a surf and turf for myself,

'Cheers!', after our meal we had another walk around town then back to the hotel for a good nights rest.
