Big Jim who brought along the most delicious pea and ham soup, everyone that tried it had at least one second helping and a few had thirds!

then Jordan popped in,
little Lura called upstairs to say "Hi!" to dad,
the girls did a great job of cooking the food, after Big Jim's soup we had pork fillet with chicken and salad, also Mr. Tony's Booie called over in the afternoon with some huge spare ribs which she had prepared in her special home made mayonnaise,
later Eric called in,
and a great surprise, Glenn called in on his way back from Japan, he is here for a couple of days then he is of to the Philippines,
Mick yet again partaking in the pleasures of the flesh!
Mike and Riza then arrived, but the girls were so busy downstairs (singing karaoke!) he had to wait for his Leo!
then Wayne called in,
quickly followed by Brent,
as the night wore on Booie called in to pick up Mr. Tony,
and the karaoke singers were Uncashar, Fay, Riza, Booie, Diana and Mas,
A Scotsman who spells
Whisky with a n ‘e’,
should be hand cuffed
and thrown head first in the Dee.
In the USA and Ireland,
it’s spelt with an ‘e’
but in Scotland
it’s real ‘Whisky’.
So if you see Whisky
and it has an ‘e’,
only take it,
if you get it for free!
For the name is not the same
and it never will be,
a dram is only a real dram,
from a bottle of ‘Scotch Whisky’.

many years ago Mum, Dad and me went to a place called Lunan Bay for a fishing holiday in Scotland, I am sure it has changed since the early 1960's when we were there, we stayed in the Lunan Bay Hotel, which had it's own private beat on the river Lun, in the bar it had over 160 different whisky's, well Dad tried every one of them, and then announced, (to no one in particular) "there is no such thing as a bad whisky, it is just that some taste better than others!"
