When I First Heard About The Expolision At Tunguska Which Took Place Over A Century Ago In Siberia

I found it completely fascinating for a couple of reasons,
firstly a number of expeditions went looking for the remains of the asteroid notably the Leonid Kulik Expedition and found none, secondly trees at the center of the explosion were still standing although 8o million trees were felled radiating out wards from the centre of supposed impact, the same as found in a nucular blast at say Horishima now new evidence points to the asteroid being a lot smaller than earlier thought, which is bit of a worry because,
(a) we do not search for small asteroids,
(b) statically speaking we are more likely to be hit by smaller asteroids than big ones,
oh well, some thing else to worry about!
