Saturday And Off To Friendship,
after that we called into the IT center for Diana's phone with the new cover,then Diana started to prepare the food for the afternoon/evening, chicken casserole this week with french bread for the gravy,
we were not sure who would call in so she made lots to go round,
first to arrive were Jay and Precil,
so a couple of quick games of cribbage were on the cards!
soon we were joined by Big Jim, Mr.Tony, Mike and Riza,
then Mark called in,
shortly followed by Eric and Grieg, good job Diana made 2 casseroles,
the food arrives, we also had a whole chicken, sausages and beef jerky, so some of these are in the freezer for next week,
I forgot to mention Tom was also there,
and Joe,
the girls having a great time Diana, Riza, Precil and Anchisa,
"Cheers!" from all of us, talk ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous, with a number of jokes about the English language and spellings of it, such as silent letters, an example the silent 'P' in the word swimming, do you get it? everybody has a silent P when swimming ! Mark again keeping us amused with tales of beneath decks in his time in the Royal Navy, a good time was had by all, Diana said she is thinking of making a shepards pie for next week, so shepards look out!
