After Arriving Back At Our Hotel,

we freshened up and went for our evening meal,

it was a buffet and a floor show,

it all looked very nice,

with Diana striking the pose,

we then made our way in, to be greeted with tables laded with food of all descriptions,

the restaurant has to cater for tourists from all over the world, mainly here from Russia, and I guess from China,

so the selection was huge,

I nearly lost sight of the girls the tables were so long!

and there was still tables that I had not taken a picture of,

all nicely laid out,

with fresh food on offer too,

just pick up what you want,

and take it to one of the many cooking stations,

soda for Jeff,

and a beer for me,

bar-b-q for Diana's first course,

'Ah!',

then the show began, a compare announcing in several languages what we were going to see,

firstly a single dancer,

using traditional Cambodian movements,

she was joined by others as the song progressed,

all nicely choreographed,

and in time,

hair and makeup perfect,

the show was so good I had to have another beer!

the dance finished it was followed by a coconut dance,

I should say that coconut halves are used as a percussion instrument,

I am not sure what this dance is about,

I am guessing the dancer represents a fish,

but then this figure makes an appearance,

I am not sure what to think,

this one is a bit easier, both boys and girls have fish traps, so it is a local village dance,

two are left on the stage, they have a tiff,

a little match making must have been going on,

but then they are friends again,

and all is well,

the troupe come back for a curtain call,

what starts out as a solo dance,

soon becomes a troupe,

again nicely choreographed,

the dance show has ended,

the troupe take a bow, our meal finished,

we are out on the town,

shopping of course, that one please!

will he go for it?

meanwhile Diana is buying some T shirts,

not that we were hungry, but this display was outside one of the restaurants,

so we decided to stop here whilst the girls wandered off,

a view of some of the businesses along side the restaurant,

I went upstairs to the bathroom, this is a view from the upstairs dinning area looking across the road,

Bloody Mary for Jeff, beer for me,

the girls came back from shopping hungry,

so a few things were thrown on to the grill,

it was only a few hours ago that they had eaten, but anything to keep the ladies happy,

I do not know why,

but I like neon signs,

next door to where we were sitting there were so many of them,

they are all at the front of a store,

telling you what is inside,

I am not quiet sure what this shop is offering though,

but this one is obvious,

another market hove into view as we wandered downtown,

we had a quick look around,

but then thankfully found a bar,

nicely laid out,

with happy serving staff,

we settled down to watch the world walk by, then we made a move,

around the corner to, another bar,

again nicely laid out,

many of the buildings here have a New Orleans look to them, due to the French influence I guess,

a nice way to end the day,

orange, beer, coffee and ice cream,
Jeff had to try some of the ice cream,

now here's a thing, we have hardly been here a day but I have noticed there are scores of fish tanks in the street where you can have your toes nibbled, but unlike Pattaya where the fish used are Garra Rufa here any fish are used, tilapias, and other African cichlids,
we then get in our ride home,

plenty of room for four, it is a bike which is towing a two wheeled caravan,

the girls thought it was great,

especially as it was pretty in pink!

we had to pose outside the hotel,

these things just have to be done, then off to bed, a busy day tomorrow.
