After A good Nights Sleep,

we were up early to the hotels restaurant,

 for our breakfast,

there was an egg chef, who cooked them any way you liked,

then a buffet of other breakfast goodies, with a generous selection of fresh fruit,

after a few hours drive a stop for a visit to a restroom and a shop selling hand carved souvenirs,

we had seen many of these before,

but then a tractor came past,

in rural villages both here and in Thailand these workhorses can be harnessed to all manner of uses, from pumping water to ploughing the rice paddies, they are so versatile,

there was a stone carving shop on the other side of the road too,

but what made the shops here different form the others that we had seen was the patterning in the stone itself,

most other sandstone we had seen was of a uniform colour,

but here the strata was of different pattens,

giving each piece of stone a distinct look,

with no two pieces exactly the same,

then back in to the mini bus, although the tractors we had just seen are a way of transporting items, nothing seems to beat a motorcycle to transport goods to market, like these three pigs,

 or a flock of chickens,

we had by now just entered Poiet, so we stopped for our midday meal,

Diana had a Thai meal with egg fried rice for me,

again all manner of overloaded carts came by,

how high can you get? we had already past customs and immigration, the difference being this time everyone had all eight fingers and both thumbs scanned and recorded to go to the American data base, it appears that America had paid and installed this high tech equipment that allows your finger prints to be matched with data bases in the US, now you know where some of your tax dollars go!

on the way back we stopped at a food stall, I think these are quail, but I am not sure,

there were eggs for sale as well,  we now arrived home, for all of us we enjoyed the trip immensly, if you want to book a trip for yourself we went to Massic Travel on Second Road, but is you want to do your own thing, the hotel we stayed at was the Angkor Star Hotel,

on the back of the card a small map of the town,

also if you want a personal tour guide Mr. Johnny was ours and could not have been better, nothing was to much trouble for him,

we arrived home at about 5.00 in the afternoon, so a quick shower and change, then off to the market, clear skies this evening,

there were a couple of stalls I had not seen before,

 like this one,

 selling house slippers,

a second hand clothes stall opposite the bar this evening,

the girls back from a shopping fest,

 'Cheers!' from us and Da,

 and Diana,

home then glad rags on as we were out for a meal,

to Ali BaBa on Pattaya Central Road,

Jeff and myself just had to get in on the act as well,

 'Cheers!' from us,

 and the girls

the girls looking as lovely as ever as the food arrives,

and there was plenty of it,

which ever way you looked at it,

then home, but not as we arrived, yet again the Secrets taxi service let us down, we phoned for a cab, but was told to get one in the street, not what we wanted to hear as we all had expensive jewellery on, so off with the trinkets and onto the street for a baht bus home,

the end to a wonderful meal and journey to Cambodia, with that we were off to bed.
