Diana wanted to post some pictures she took of her family to them in the Philippines,
as we were near the beach we parked the truck and walked back to the Surf Kitchen for breakfast,
it was quiet crowded, so we sat inside,
fruit juice and coffee for Steve,
followed by an omelet and chips, Kai had some Thai food, spaghetti bolognese for Diana,
prawn salad for myself,
making our way back to the truck I took this picture of a mobile food seller, eating out here can be good fun if you are willing to try different things,
the stall was selling baked salted fish, the fish here are called locally pla nin, they are a type of Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, they are one of the most popular fish for culture in the world, being reared in Africa, Europe, throughout the Pacific, China, Israel, USA and the Caribbean,
then time to relax on the beach,
but keep out of the sun,
cokes and sodas all round and a coconut, during the day Alex called round to say bye to Steve and Kai as did Mark in the evening along with Mike and Riza,
then it was time for the taxi to the airport after an action packed 3 weeks stay, the good news is that Steve has fully recovered from his illness, but will get checked out on his return to the UK, also they are both looking forward to coming back again as we are to seeing them here soon,
their taxi disappears from view as we wave goodbye,
as it was a bit late we decided to grab a bite to eat at the Punch and Judy,
Thai food for Diana,
steak and beer pie for me, 'Cheers!',
for our late evening viewing we put on The Odd Couple, made in 1968, for me a brilliant film, Diana also found many of the lines funny, the thing about this film is that it almost seems not to have dated, if you have not seen give it a try, after that we were off to bed.
