'A Kilo Of T109 Please',

does not really sound right,

but for people living in the UK T109's are on their way to you via Marks and Spencer next week when they go on sale, a cross between a apple and a pear it is thought they will be called papples, the rounded fleshy fruit is described as a pear disguised as an apple,

M&S fruit expert Shazad Rehman said, 'this is one of the most exciting new varieties of fruit we have seen for several years', the T109 is grown in New Zealand and is a cross between European and Asian pear varieties, which resulted in a fruit similar to an apple, M & S states that the novelty products will cost £1 each when they hit the shelves, so a papple a day that keeps the doctor away, will cost a family of four £1,460 a year!
