We Had A Bit Of Shopping To Do Today,

so off to the market before it became too hot,

a quick couple of pictures of the amaryllis before we leave,

both flowers on the stem have now opened,

with a third on the way,

we parked where we normally do,

at the back of the TukCom Centre and walked past it,

then cross Pattaya Tai into the market,

if you get lost just follow the line of baht buses,

as usual when you go into the market from this end beware the boiling oil,

deep fried crispy chicken feet today,

if you feel a bit thirsty just before you enter the market there is a stall selling fresh orange juice as well as shakes,

lots of clothes for sale as you might expect,

this stall selling beads and bracelets made from natural stone, also they sell geological specimens,

I then found myself in the toy section,

 lots of them,

 they even had VW campers!

then to the plant section, I wanted to buy some fertiliser,

 I always like Frangipani trees,

their flowers look almost as if they are made out of wax,

also they are available in so many colours,

we had arranged to meet in the cafe as usual, Diana with some lychees and grapes,

then over to Friendship for items we could not buy else where,

 home with the shopping,

next stop, the motorbike repair shop,

I took it in for a full service, one of the great things out here is that if you want your bike serviced, just drive it in and in a few moments work commences,

oil change along with a new plug, air and oil filters,

 new rear chain,

new front brake pads, also the dipped beam had failed so a new bulb, the engine was turning over very slowly so a new battery as well, all for 910 baht plus a 20 baht tip, total, 930 baht (£18.75, $29.50),

next stop the fruit stall, for some reason there were no mango's in the market, so I stopped off for a couple of kilos for this evenings slushies,

arriving back I noticed the room I use for the computer was looking a bit of a mess,

so a tidy up for tomorrow, the good news is that I know where everything is at the moment, the bad news is that after a tidy up I lose so many bits and pieces,

after our evening meal what better way to start the show than Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity, Jeff (the other Jeff), had given us a DVD of this show, but it stopped a few times, so at last I bought a new one, both Diana and myself found this show to be so funny, for me Walter steals the show, walterforpresident.com just about sums it up, well worth every penny, just make sure you have a tissue box near you to wipe away the tears of laughter!

keeping to the comedy we then watched the first three shows of An Audience With Jasper Carrott, though made in the 1970s who could not be moved to laughter with the opening Carrott ballad of 'Hangman slacken your noose' so many funny stories filmed before a live audience, a revolution for its time and started the now familiar theme of 'An Evening With', we are looking forward to the next three episodes, by the way if you want to watch the ballad click on the link, it starts about 1.30 into the first clip, not great definition, but then it was filmed in the 1970s,

to round off the evening Waking the Dead, tonight Fugue States, still lots of terrible forensic mistakes, for instance a person is unknown but the team find letters written by the suspect, instead of putting on gloves and looking for fingerprints/DNA, the team leader and another member of it handle every letter without gloves and then do not test the letters at all, of course that would have meant the episode would have finish 30 minutes early if the identity had been found, but at least so far all of the episodes have been easy to follow and solve before the end of the show, with that we were off to bed.
