We Were Up Early,

Diana had an appointment with the dentist,

so Pattaya Tai was almost deserted,

as was Friendship,

this is where we were going, Dr. Chanis, almost opposite the Friendship supermarket,

as soon as her treatment was finished we went round the Soi Bukaow market as it was Friday which is a market day,

as you walk through to the market there are lots of different foods to tempt you,

like this stall with fried chicken,

or this one with different soups, things on sticks or morsels wrapped in leaves,

of course there is not only food, but clothes and pretty much every thing else on offer,

the fish and small pet shop,

one of the many mobile stalls,

I waited for Diana in one of the cafes,

fresh lychee's and mango's, also a couple of things for Diana,

on our way back to the bike the terrapin in the pool at the front of Friendship popped his head above water,

I have heard of a ship in a bottle, but here is a new one, fish in a bottle, the end is sealed and a hole cut/melted in the side of the bottle,

add water a few plants and fish, feed a couple of times a day and you have a perfect desk top aquarium,

we made our way to TukCom, Diana wanted to look at a new Play Station Vita, only 12,000 baht or there abouts for the de-lux package, it appears you can connect it to a Play Station 3 what ever that is, also whilst there I wanted to buy some egg shell finish paper for some cards with our blogaddress to give out, from the top to the bottom not a single pack of egg shell card, lots of glossy but no egg shell, so I will have to wait till the next time we go to town,

by now it was time for the night market, I wanted to buy 3 pairs of the slip on shoes I wear, 160 baht a pair, they last a couple of months or so, but alas none in stock so I will try again next time,

clear skies at the market,

this Amari van was parked opposite the bar, so I am guessing there will be some kind of road show later,

the aisles between the food stalls still a bit empty,

but then we were a little early,

at the end of the fish/pet aisle this stall was selling decorations to go in aquariums,

rabbits, loins, fish the list was almost endless,

sunset over the market,

cold coke or warm coffee,

another view of the sunset as I made my way back to the bar,

the mini bus had disappeared, but this van had arrived,

new for this week the bar had a new roof fitted along with 2 new electric fans,

the van opened up as a Citibank, trying for new customers or offering loans I guess, Brian joined us this evening then we were back to 388, after our evening meal we settled down to watch Mythbuster, a real laugh, they had bolted two cars together head on and tried to drive them in a straight line, of coures both times the cars went way off course, one time so far from the centre of the runway they were using they had to make an emergency stop or they would have crashed through the perimeter fence, but it was classed as a success! go figure,

Diana then mentioned she would like to watch Dial M for Murder, a great thriller,

after that another few from Waking the Dead 3, as before great viewing but so many mistakes, in one the scene is set on a cockle boat off of Southend, the boat pictured like all cockling boats has a small wheelhouse at the front, the rear two thirds of the boat open for booms, otters and nets, the same boat when put into a shipyard for examination after it was recovered from spending 11 years submerged on the seabed turns into a cabin cruiser! not to mention that within seconds a clean bullet hole is discovered the rotten timbers, with that we were off to bed.
