today to Friendship,
for some reason the roads were almost deserted,
which seemed strange as Thursday and Friday are holidays so I would have thought a lot of people would have come down from Bangkok to make a long weekend of it,
when we returned I noticed this critter on one of our plants, he was about 4" or so long, for some reason Diana really does not like caterpillars, even small ones, so this giant of one was well out of her comfort zone!
quite well camouflaged,
as I moved the leaf,
he started to curl up,
he seemed to have an eye spot, I guess to make his head look bigger, but then carried on eating,
next unload the shopping,
after watching some afternoon television we were out for the evening meal,
tonight with Mr. Tony to Ali Baba, we arrived just on 7.00 in the evening,
there were only a couple of customers there when we arrived,
after some poppadoms we ordered chicken chat,
followed by prawn puri,
then after a break the 20 thieves tandori dish,
the dish arrived on a hot skillet,
it was still cooking on the table,
much to our amusement,
'Cheers!', from all of us,
the 20 thieves dish, lamb, chicken, cheese, fish and shrimp, cooked on a bed of cabbages, delicious,
for our final course we ordered just two dishes, chicken tikka masala and peas pilau rice, for flavours we all agreed this was the place, the food just right, by now as we finished it was well after 10.00 in the evening so back to 388 for a nightcap,
and a DVD, we had not watched X-Men for some time, so we put that on, the special effects were as you might expect special, the story is about good verses evil with mutants taking both sides and duking it out, when the final credits rolled it was late so we said our goodbyes to Mr. Tony and for us we were off to bed.
