but found that the Prichai seafood restaurant was closed,
so this week we just had to go back,
Russ was with us this evening,
as usual there were so many items to tempt us,
like these freshwater shrimps,
and fresh fish,
plus lots of shellfish,
tempting as the lobsters looked we decided against one,
we made our way through the larger of the eating area,
past the open air smoking area,
to the covered area where we normally sit, our starters arrived, seafood fried rice, steamed mussels, morning glory and prawn doughnuts,
sunset looking out to sea,
unfortunately not much cloud this evening,
the sun just sort of slipped away,
beer and first course over,
we decided on a soup dish, two in fact, firstly prawns and mushroom,
followed by a medium spicy tom yum goong,
which we all enjoyed,
the sun had long disappeared,
but the sky kept a rosy glow for a long time after,
on to our final few dishes, steamed crab legs with another dish of seafood fried rice,
curried crab,
with a few more prawn doughnuts,
by now we were full to bursting, as we picked our way through the last of the curried crab, the meal came to 1,800 baht for the 3 of us including a beer for Russ and corkage for our wine, the restaurant is in the town of Ban Amphur, go along the Sumkivitt Highway past the Ambassador Hotel on your right, then turn right at the next set of traffic lights, take the first on the left before the market, dive a few hundred meters and you will see some restaurant car parks on your right, Prichai is the second one,
