Today,

we decided to put the air plants we had bought in Bangkok,

on to the drift wood where the ones we had bought last year have been so successful,

meaning not only did they live but they flowered,

also some like this one had grown so large that we broke it up into several smaller plants to place elsewhere,

this one was even flowering upside down,

we attached the new plants with fishing line, which being nylon will last for some time giving the plants a chance to attach themselves to the tree stump,

all finished so next year hopefully we will have another showing of flowers,

the ones that we made by splitting the bigger plants we placed in the the now dead tree,

although in full sunlight they should I think grow there,

then over to the weekend night market on Thepprasit Road, blue/yellow skies looking towards Jomtien,

it is strange how the sky has this yellow hue, dust in the air I suppose,

clear blue skies looking inland, the moon if you can see it towards the top of the picture is 394,527.25 kilometres away as I type this, but moving towards us at a rate of 1 kilometre every 22 seconds,

new and secondhand clothes stalls opposite the bar this evening,

I took my usual walk past the bug stall,

not my cup of tea but Diana likes some of them,

one of the many trucks off loading supplies,

a few customers in the pet section,

sunset over the market looking towards Jomtien,

 and inland,

you may remember a few months ago the pet stall behind the bar was taken over by this soft toy stall, also that last week I mentioned the different sizes of yellow ducks on sale,

up until till last week they had from super large to small,

new for this week, key ring sized yellow ducks, but what is it with yellow ducks?

we were joined tonight by Brian, who will hopefully by this time next week be a Dad, more news next week, we made our way home after saying goodbye and settled in to watch another episode of Ade in Britain, a new episode of The Chase and a couple from Cloumbo, then for us we were off to bed.
