I Often Make Fun Of Health And Safety Rules And Regulations,

but here is one time when they were needed,

the incident happened at around 10am on Friday at the St John's Point lighthouse near Killough, Co Down, Northern Ireland, scaffolding gave way as the painter was painting the lighthouse and he was left suspended 50 feet above the ground by his safety line until rescue services arrived on the scene and brought him back to earth, I must admit climbing scaffolding is always a problem for me, I always find it is best to get your other half to paint the house.
