We Had A Quiet Day,

just one trip out to the shops,

well Makro in fact, we had run out of medicinal red wine, but shock, horror! when we arrived we were only allowed to buy 2 boxes, it was a Pattaya wide shortage of Moint Clair wine, but we also bought 5 cases of soda, plus some other household goods, then another shortage, no coke zero, not a single can, so we went to Tesco where we bought the last 12 cans they had there, still I guess all will be back to normal next week,

in the afternoon we watched a couple from The Chase, then after our evening meal Men in Black 3, another hugely enjoyable sci-fi in the MIB series,

then a fairly new film Snowpiercer, it all happens on board a none stop perpetual train that takes a year to complete it's circuit of a now deep frozen earth, naturally the rich and privileged live at the front of the train whilst the bucket and spades live at the rear, not being content with their life there the bucket and spades make a move to get to the front of the train, so all is set for a showdown, a great movie if you can get your mind round a train that can run for 17 years none stop and is fully self sufficient in all types of food production including fish, poultry and cattle rearing, a couple more episodes of Bones and for us we were off to bed.

Hi Stanley,

Sam from Troy here. I don't have an email but saw something on my ipad apps today and thought of you and your fascination with all things.

The app is called full steam ahead.
