we were up early and off fishing,
with Nick and Maureen,
the skies did not look too promising,
we all thought it would rain before the day was over,
so on with the fishing, first one to me,
Diana was hungry, so off to the kitchen the fish went,
there was a lot of excitement in the field behind us today,
normally just a few people arrive for a fitness training session,
but today two full teams fully kitted out arrived, it was a contest we found out between hotels,
around the field sponsors advertisements had been erected,
so a last minuet pep talk,
and the game was on,
meanwhile the fishing was pretty slow,
so I took a few pictures of the lotus that were in blossom,
on the far side of the lake,
the petals nearly finished on this one,
food arrives!
everyone was hungry, so we all tucked in, Maureen had also brought along some of Nick's cake he had baked earlier,
and for a bit of fun a short video that Diana took,
I mentioned that the fishing was slow, and it was, the good news was though that it was victory for Nick, the score ending a 2 - 1 victory to him, next stop to Nick and Maureen's for a roast dinner and desserts,
then on to the serious part of the evening, Monopoly, crikey! look at all of those houses and hotels on the table,
and they all belonged to Maureen! who won the game with ease, after thanking Nick and Maureen for their hospitality we made a move for home, then feet up a medicinal red wine a couple from LA Law then we were off to bed.
