In The Next Few Weeks,

we will be travelling down to Koh Chang with Nick and Maureen,

as we did this time last year, if you fancy visiting the island this is how we booked our travel tickets, I drove away from the dolphin roundabout up the hill towards Naklua, I stopped almost opposite the Bon Cafe shop on the right, opposite Soi 18,

the roads on the left are number 20, 19, 18, etc, going towards Naklua, so you would have though the next street would be 17, but it is not,

it is numbered 16/3,

this is the next street, in it the place we are looking for, Malibu Travel,

the street is opposite Aiyara Palace Hotel,

the street still in need of some repair,

it shares the premises with Malibu City Palace,

to find the travel section go into the hotel and walk past the reception desk, down a small passage way and into Malibu Travel, the mini bus service will not pick up from individual homes but we take a small walk to a local hotel and wait in the reception area to be picked up, the mini bus takes us down to the ferry, then we cross to the island where a waiting mini bus takes us to our hotel, the return trip going back to the hotel where we were picked up is 1,400 baht per person,

as we are going fishing this week I also took the opportunity as I was out and about to pick up the bait, at the shop entrance 4 people had by the look of it purchased a complete set of new gear,

from the bike to the truck and off to Makro, our wine cellar was getting depleted,

then disaster, no red Mont Clair in stock, it seems strange that even with to days computer age of keeping stock and predicting sales this line sells out so frequently and when it is in stock many times sales are restricted to just 2 boxes per person, oh well I was advised that this Peter Vella is as good as Mont Clair but more expensive per liter, also we will run out quicker as the boxes are only 4 not 5 liters, we will taste how good it is next week,

after our evening meal it was feet up, popcorn out for Sleepy Hollow, Constable Ichabod Crane, (what a great name, Ichabod), has to find the headless horseman of Sleepy Hollow, who cuts off heads, in case you are wondering the village of Sleepy Hollow is a real place, a book entitled Sleepy Hollow is a personal reminiscence, written by Washington Irving under the pen name, Geoffrey Crayon, this article (not to be confused with The Legend of Sleepy Hollow [1819]) also written by Irving, first appeared in The Knickerbocker Magazine, in May of 1839, given that the film is set in the US, I was amazed at how much of it was filmed in the UK, a couple from A Touch of Frost and we were off to bed.
