Sunday,

and we were out for lunch,

Mr. Tony very kindly picked us up and drove us to Soi Lengkee,

where we parked,

and made our way across Soi Bukaow,

 and into Soi Diana,

I stopped by the watch repair stall, I needed a extra hole punched into some of my watch straps as some of them were bit loose, as he was busy I left them there,

I made my way past the Metropole Hotel,

and caught up with Mr. Tony and Diana at the Robin's Nest,

we were also joined today by Slim Jim,

 a hamburger for Diana,

 with chips,

the carvery for the other three of us,

gammon ham, beef, meatballs, pork, chicken and cottage pie,

the meatballs were getting a little low, so this charming waitress filled the tray,

the vegetable selection, I should of mentioned there were also pigs in blankets to chose from,

Diana chose a blueberry shake for dessert,

the three of us went with the ice cream that was included in the 3 course 279 baht menu,

 after dessert coffee,

 all beautifully decorated,

it almost seems a shame to eat it,

 but it was so nice,

we then made a move for home,

I took a few pictures of sellers in the street,

as we made our way back to the watch repair stall,

 strawberry's are now in season,

a quick pose for the camera,

well I had to get in as well, we said our farewells to Slim Jim,

then to the watch repairers stall, watch straps punched,

and we were on our way,

note to self, do not stop in the middle of the road to take a picture,

 having crossed Soi Bukaow,

we were now in Soi Lengkee,

into the car and home we went,

we had a coffee and a chat with Mr. Tony, also we watched a few of the hugely entertaining Pawn Stars, after saying our goodbyes to him it was then feet up for The Darjeeling Limited, not to everyone's tastes but we enjoyed watching three brothers make they way across India as they came to terms with their fathers death a year before and the meeting of their mother in a Indian temple where she now lives,

we had watched the film Fargo a few times before and really enjoyed it, so we were not sure what to expect with Fargo the television series, both started with the claim, Based On True Events, but this is what I wrote about the film the last time we watched it,

'although the titles say it is based on a true movie it is not, but two similar events depicted in the movie did take place, an urban legend even says that people have gone to search Minnesota for the briefcase of money, but what did happen was that the plot has elements of two well-known Minnesota crimes,

in 1962, a St. Paul attorney named Eugene Thompson hired someone to kill his wife, Carol, the sloppiness and brutality of the crime attracted great attention, then in 1972, Virginia Piper, the wife of a wealthy Orono banker, was kidnapped, a million-dollar ransom was paid, one of the largest in U.S. history, Mrs. Piper was found tied to a tree in a state park, two men were convicted of the crime, but were acquitted after a re-trial, only $4,000 of the money was ever recovered, so that, supposedly is why people are still looking for the other $996,000!'

so will the television series be based on fact or fiction? all I know is that we enjoyed it so much we watched three episode back to back and we are both looking forward to tonight's showing, but by now it was late so we were off to bed.

I also enjoyed the TV series 'Fargo' very much too. Billy Bob Thornton is mesmerising!

Dear Mocha Joe, yes indeed he has a great presence although he seems small in statue compared to the people he intimidates so well, great series, best regards, Stan and Diana.
