called in today,
so we chatted the afternoon away, Mark now lives in Cambodia but pops back to say hi every now and then, after we said our goodbyes it was on with the bar-b-q,
despite the fan there was smoke everywhere,
the fire just did not seem to catch,
but eventually the smoke and ash cleared,
sausage rolls this evening,
but first some garlic bread,
and a glass of medicinal red wine,
after a long break our next course, chicken satay, Diana had made a peanut dip plus a spicy mixture of cucumber, onions and red peppers,
for our main course bangers in a roll with fried onions,
Diana as happy as ever,
and so was I,
one down and one to go, they were delicious, just in case you fancy some sausages the ones we buy are from KPK Foods they are the Cumberland flavoured ones, we finished with some grapes as a dessert and spent the evening listening to music and a performance from Tom Lehrer, recorded at one of his shows titled An Evening Wasted with Tom Lehrer, the one for me, Poisoning Pigeons in the Park, a bit macabre but there it is, then indoors a few from the TMN channel and we were off to bed.
