to everyone,

and we hope no one is nursing a sore head this morning, for us our day started at The George, for our Sunday lunch, we have eaten there many times before, it is in Chaiyaphruek 2 Rd, if you are going away from Pattaya heading towards Sattahip on the Sukhumvit Road when you arrive at the Chaiyaphruek traffic lights turn right and the restaurant/pub is about 100 yards along the road on the left hand side,

once inside the bar is on the right,

in the far corner the carvery,

we all decided on the 395 baht 3 course carvery, both Diana,

and Mr. Tony who very kindly picked us up went with the pate,

a Cesar salad for myself,

 on to the carvery,

 which we all enjoyed,

lastly the included desserts, chocolate for Mr. Tony,

 vanilla for Diana,

 and myself,

then a nice surprise, new for this week, slushies, Mr. Tony tried the mix fruit and said it was delicious, Diana would have ordered one as well, but she had eaten too much,

 for myself,

a Jamaican coffee, then home we went and it was feet up for a couple of films, firstly

Bullitt, with its famous car chase,

and then another favorite film of mine, Catch-22, I mentioned to Mr. Tony that I had read the book at least 6 times, and would still like to read it again, it was that good, as was the film,

 a late night feast,

Diana had been busy in the kitchen so we all had a late night snack, we said our farewells to Mr. Tony and I dashed indoors for the camera,

for the next few nights the moon will appears slightly larger, fireworks will not be the only thing to light up the night on New Year’s evening or the next, because the supermoon could be up to 30 percent brighter and 14 percent larger, so just before midnight I took this picture of it, the one above straight out of the camera,

and this is what it looks like after I had played around with it in Photoshop, and yes I know I should have used a tripod, but there it is, and with that after seeing the New Year in we were off to bed.
