We Decided On A Walk Before Lunch,

so Beckenham Place Park it was then,

 clear blue skies,

the crocuses looking nice in the sun,

there were a few pink cherry blossoms opening out,

 and some white ones,

I hope a late frost does not catch them out,

one of the locals planted some daffodils, which in the verge are looking nice,

Diana taking a photograph of the cherry blossoms,

we made our way to what was once the Foxgrove Club, now sadly abandoned by Lewisham council, already parts of the roof are in desperate need of repair,

a look from the club rear garden across to the mansion,

 we continued our walk,

I then zoomed in, but I only had a wide to standard zoom lens, so I could not get an up close photograph,

but I could get Diana into the picture,

the sun making shadows of the trees on our walk,

one of the fir trees in the park,

this one making a shade for a family picnicking,

 the lake taking shape,

the River Ravensbourne that runs through the lake stopped in its tracks,

the legend of what is going to happen, the good news is that May 2019 is mentioned, hopefully all of the works will be finished by then and the park will be well and truly open,

another tree in flower as we made our way to,

and past the mansion, if you look carefully one of the ring necked parakeets, (Psittacula krameri), is in the tree,

 we made our way downhill,

taking a last look across what was once the fairway,

and into the road to our home,

where Diana prepared our Sunday lunch, prawn cocktail for Diana's starter,

 for myself,

 a dressed crab,

on to our main courses,

 for today roast beef,

we are so glad we now have a table and chairs, hopefully in the next few weeks the sofas will appear,

for our dessert,

 an Eton mess,

made with the strawberries we bought in Dalton yesterday, delicious, then it was feet up for a few quiz shows, after our evening snack it was the one we had been waiting for,

Endeavour, which as usual we both thoroughly enjoyed, next for us, Have I Got a Bit More Old News For You, so funny, quick and cutting to so many famous people, we rounded the evening of with one form a series we have not seen in some time Wicked Tuna, we are only making a couple of posts today as at any moment now the engineer, who has just called, will be arriving to fit the dashcam to the car, so with the end of Wicked Tuna at midnight we were off to bed,
