You May Remember As A Kid,

putting pieces of card in the spokes of your bicycle,

making a rhythmic clicking sound as you rode, thinking back to this Wellington, New Zealand-based musician Pete O’Connell, decided to make a machine to reproduce the effect,

and here it is, the Rhysonic Wheel, is a self-made instrument that combines power tools with a self-spinning wheel, to create steady, melodic strumming on his acoustic guitar,

the Rhysonic Wheel spins several wheels at once, producing harmony between a drum, djembe, and any other percussive or stringed instrument he chooses to place in the path of the machine’s spinning wheels,

and here it is in action, You can see more of O’Connell’s performances with early versions of the Rhysonic Wheel on his Youtube, Vimeo, and Facebook, not quite my taste in music, but after a few minutes it seems to have some of the audience captivated.
