a river of ice,
making its way up a bank, the ice-filled Lena River is in Pokrovsk, Yakutia, Russia, the Siberian Times explains that the ice is breaking up, in another week or so, this river, which flows into the Arctic Ocean, should be
ice-free, what a strange natural phenomena, a river but no water, just ice, I wonder if this happens every year, in which case I might have seen it before, or is this just a one off occurrence?

Dear Jill, what an amazing video, as I mentioned I had never seen this phenomenon before, and talk about scary for the householder, watching the seemingly unstoppable ice advancing on his house, many thanks, best regards, Stan and Diana.
