as we are up and out,
and off to the coast, but back to today, first stop the post office in the distance,
which is roughly halfway along Beckenham High Street, opposite The George public house, I had a few letters to post by snail mail,
next stop to Bromley, past Diana's favorite shop,
and into Lakeland, I needed a new CO2 cylinder for my daily morning liter of soda water, when we first moved here instead of buying bottles of soda we bought one of the household CO2 machines from Sodastream, a tad expensive but look out for offers if you are thinking of one, does drinking a liter of water first thing in the morning have any beneficial health effects? I do not have a clue, but it is a refreshing way to start the day as I type the blog, also having the machine means that unlike when we were in Thailand, we do not have three empty 325ml soda bottles to throw away every day, the cylinders last about 4 weeks, and when needing exchanging give us a good excuse to go to Bromley, back on the bus,
to Beckenham Junction station to buy our tickets for today, then shopping in Waitrose which is on the other side of the tracks,
then home and feet up for Amadeus, the director's cut, we had the original DVD, but when I saw the Blu Ray extended version after we arrived here, we just had to buy it, and it was worth every penny for the extra 20 minutes or so of extra footage, after our evening meal it was a few quiz shows, then a Game of Thrones fest, we watched episodes until after midnight, then for us we were off to bed.

You're a bit odd Stan: You're paying to have that nice Jaguar that gets 70 mpg, but it just sits at your house while you take the bus and train everywhere.
I agree, that extended version of Amadeus is excellent. It shows why the Constanza character disliked the Salieri character so much. The one scene (with the boobs) that was left out of the original movie was rather important to the story as a whole.
Dear Jil, the reason that we take the train is that for the distances we go it just takes too much time out of the day to drive, you may have noticed we drive to local events up to say 60 miles, but after that we use the train, also for London I travel free on all public transport and as a couple we have a 30% discount on all rail travel, so sometimes the train makes sense, as you will see as the weather improves we have lots of local places we will drive to for our afternoon cream teas! In the DVD we have the scene is included, but it may have been cut from the cinema version to get it watched by under 16s as a guess, but in any event what a great movie, best regards, Stan and Diana.
