Amazon's new TV series based on JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, has been kept under wraps pretty well so far, but today a teaser, it does not show much, but it does reveal the name of the series,
and here is the teaser,
The Rings of Power will premiere on Amazon on September 2, as far as the clip goes it might look like CGI but in fact the sequence was was actually hand made at a foundry, as can be seen in the above behind the scenes clip, to achieve the effect, molten metal was poured onto a reclaimed redwood board, sparkler dust, argon dust and liquid hydrogen were also used to get the practical effect, amazing.
