For The Past Couple Of Weeks We Have Been Counting Down The Days,

today after watching countless advertisements on cable television we were off, to Central Festival to watch the 3D version of the latest Harry Potter movie, we just love 3D films having now seen several from shorts in the Science Museum, London to full length films such as Avatar, 'two for the 3D Harry Potter please,' the reply, 'we no have 3D Harry Potter,' I replied that every day Central Festival were running advertisements showing the start day, today, for the 3D version of Harry Potter, reply, 'you want 3D Harry Potter, you go Bangkok,' it was my fault, I believed the advertisement, moving on we then went to the XD theater, at least it as always said it would do what it said on the label,
a 4D experience, the ride was so funny, in seconds we were both laughing our heads off,
we went for the snow ride, one of the best so far if you like being shaken in your seats and having the scare of seeing trees and rocks missing you by seconds, I have mention it before as being a tad expensive at 200 baht each, but it was such fun it was worth every baht! we were going to buy some fresh strawberries and other fruit in Food Mart, but some one forgot the 50% off fresh fruit card, so we decided to make our way home, we put 2012 on as we settled down for a couple of games of Monopoly, we have seen 2012 so many times, but we enjoyed seeing it again, hours later it was one all and time for our evening meal,
then feet up for another Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Silk Stocking, this time staring Rupert Everett as Holmes and a remarkably fine job he did of it, all through the movie I kept saying we had seen him before then it came to me we had in amongst others as the Prince of Wales in The Madness of King George, but back to the film a serial killer stalking the teen-aged daughters of the aristocracy brings Sherlock Holmes out of his semi-retirement, we thought the film was very good, with a lot of attention to detail, easy to watch, but it still had a twist at the end, The Theft of the Royal Ruby followed, another Poirot, when Prince Farouq of Egypt foolishly lets a tart wear a fabulously valuable royal ruby, she simply walks away with it, but where to? then to round off the evening, The Affair at the Victory Ball, Poirot attends the Victory Ball, a costume party where you are expected to dress as someone famous, he does he goes as himself, however, when two members of a party of six dressed as characters from classical Italian comedy are subsequently found dead, the villains are unmasked live on radio, after that off to bed.

Dear Mike, yes we missed this, but as the lady at the cinema said, 'you want see Harry Potter 3D, you go Bangkok!' they must have a genuine copy of it in 3D up there! hope to see you both this afternoon, best regards, Stan and Diana.
