Not A Lot Happening Today

I popped to the household goods shop, I was going to buy a new bulb for the living room, but as it seems to be failing with monotonous regularity I decided to buy two - for 70 baht, which means that over the past two months they have gone from 50 baht to 40 baht to a low of 35 baht, I wonder if light bulbs are like a commodity, it is like barrels of oil? the more they have the cheaper they becomes, light bulb futures perhaps? I think I need to get out more,
but back to the evening, when Diana was out she bought a couple of boxes of Australian strawberries to snack on whilst watching DVD's, which is what we did all day,
The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen, if you are into the unusual extravaganza type movie then this is for you, this time we both watched it spell bound,
whilst we played Monopoly we had Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, we had seen it before but it was just to have something in the background to watch,
we had not seen Murder on the Orient Express, most reviewers rave about it, we both found the character of Poirot not as well performed as the series we had been watching, to say the ending was long, drawn out and as dry as a bone is an understatement, one we will never watch again, what I still can not understand is that it boasts 58 Oscar nominations and 14 wins, just goes to show how miss guided some Oscar nominators must be! - or is it us? watch it and see,
now this is more like it! a real gem, Death on the Nile, as bad as the other film was this is 180 degrees better, a real treat to watch, then to round of the evening it must be said our favorite Poirot series, this time The Mystery of the Spanish Chest, Lady Chatterton asks for Poirot's assistance when she comes to fear for the safety of her friend, Marguerite Clayton, specifically, she is convinced that Marguerite's husband Edward Clayton, known for his violent temper, will kill her, but is Marguerite the intended victim? then off to bed.
