it being a tunnel on a £320,000 cycle path,
in response defending the route at a council meeting, Mayor Andrew Moulding said the alternative was the main road and he felt Cllr Hayward was being 'a little unfair, there is a potential solution to the flooding and we will learn more about that and it will be kept clear,' pity the Mayor and his planners did not learn about the flooding before, but at least learning about that they are hoping to keep it clear, the tunnel was supported by other members of the council as well, notably Cllr Sue Spiller said her husband used the path and thought it was a great idea, even though there was 'a bit of a slurry problem' Axminster Council, one of the few with money to burn on projects like this,
still at least they put a sign up, a blue warning sign has now been installed on the tunnel between Axminster and the village of Kilmington, reading: 'Low bridge ahead. Cyclists dismount', your local council, working for you!
