he was on his way back from Bangkok,
as I had not we decided on the Punch & Judy, for a late breakfast/early lunch,
in the afternoon Diana and myself made our way to the Hell Hole called the Central Festival car park, the planners had seriously underestimated the number of bikes that would park here, so it is not unusual to have to move three or more bikes to start your journey home, all the time being watched by the car park attendants, still it gives them some thing to laugh about,
but the good news was that the television we have been saving up for over the past ten months had as I predicted fallen in price, this month by a huge 20,000 baht, at today's rate £413, we were told it is a special offer, so just another 7 days to see if it goes down again in March or goes back to its normal price, decisions, decisions!
the third in the box was Apollo 13, based on the true story of the ill-fated 13th Apollo mission bound for the moon. Astronauts Lovell, Haise and Swigert were scheduled to fly Apollo 14, but are moved up to 13, it all goes so well, then so horribly wrong, both Diana and myself were spellbound,
it was then like meeting old friends as the theme music started for New Tricks series 8, everything remains the same, but the first two episodes we watched were far more complicated than previous series, but great fun neither the less, then for us off to bed.
