A SMS From Steve,

meant it was a lunch meeting,

 at the Punch & Judy,

with little Laura, naturally they had to have a dessert after the main course,

 I want that bit!

after lunch a visit to TukCom to buy a couple of extension leads,

I then popped over to see Mark for a cup of tea or two then back to 388, shortly afterwards Phil called round on one of his bikes, this one is known is the German one, but it appears it is a bit slow compared to his Japanese ones, so he has fitted a supercharger in an effort to make it keep up,

in a couple of days time it is a friend of our's birthday so off to Lotus to buy some wrapping paper, but not only did Lotus not have any neither did 7 - 11 or Family Mart, it appears there is a wrapping paper shortage, people panic buying I suppose,

 next stop our evening meal,

to the food stalls on Third Road,

then feet up for Lifeforce, with the cast listed it looked to be good viewing, but in truth it was a lack luster film, maybe the theme of space vampires was a little too way off, some good shots but not as thrilling as hoped for,

but now to the real ting as far as I was concerned, L. A. Law, now into the third disc, it still is spellbinding with humour thrown in, as the blurb says, 'this critically acclaimed drama is about a top Los Angeles law firm, some of the best battles take place outside of the couurtroom, in the bedroom, in the courtroom, or at McKenzie, Brackman, Chaney & Kuzak's staff meetings, the firm's ambitious, competitive attorneys confront conflict between their own desires, their obligations as attorneys and their principles as human beings', I could not have said better myself!

then another favourite of ours, New Tricks, this one series 8, the episode Object of Desire, DCI Larson, head of the Met's arts and antiques squad, asks the team to reinvestigate the murder of antiques dealer Mal Baxter, but there is a problem he is an old flame of Sandra's, will that cloud the investigation? with that we were off to bed.

I like your new TV and the sound system. Actually, I have the same thing. The only thing that bothers me is that your system is not center. It is more to the left. I don't know but it is messing up the good view. :(

Dear Anonymous, I took the picture at the end of the day, all will be centered over the next few days as well as calibrating the screen, I am thinking of using the CalMAN calibration software, but am still undecided as to go for it, it is here at

http://store.spectracal.com/calman-overview

I have also noted some other owner's settings who have had a engineer calibrate their sets in their homes, so that might be a way forward, have you calibrated your screen? if so what software did you use or was the calibration a home visit? best regards, Stan and Diana.

Just as an after thought, the CalMAN is a professional system, but here is a good starting point for your own calibration, if you have not calibrated your set yet,
