The Day Started Out A little Badly,

which is why I am going straight on with the post,

my computer failed yet again, I switched it on, all went well as it booted up, the usual 'welcome' message being displayed, the screen saver, a picture of us being displayed, but then nothing, no program icons, no bar at the bottom of the page, I pushed the on button for 5 seconds or so to switch it off made a cup of coffee then tried again, same result, so a call to Wattana Computers, the engineer/technician should be here soon so that is why I am straight on to the post, (I have just found out that the promised visit between 10.00 - 11.00 has been put back to 1.00 - 2.00 in the afternoon, so that messes up a visit to the dentist we had planned to make), so after posting the blog on Diana's computer and lunch we were off out,

to the hell hole known as the motorcycle underground parking area beneath Central Festival, try to get your bike out of that lot!

we had made the trip there to go  to the cinema, but first Diana had to have a try at driving a racing car,

she seemed to have an attraction for the side walls,

but she was having a great time,

until the inevitable crash! then time for the main event, we were going to watch Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted, but more of that later,

after the movie we took a quick look outside, which made me a bit queasy, much to Diana's amusement as she asked why I wanted to go back inside,

then we settled down for our evening meal,

in the MK restaurant which I think was on the fifth floor

after a complimentary soup we had the large selection duck and pork prepared three ways, crispy pork, roast duck and red pork with honey,

 along with some plain rice,

Diana also ordered a pork and vegetable soup dish, for drinks Diana had a mango slushy, a small beer for me,

about half way through  the meal the music was turned up a little, then all of the staff put on a synchronised dance show, the food was excellent, total for the meal was just over 500 baht, we were both full to bursting,

next stop to Friendship supermarket for a few bits of shopping,

then home feet up to watch some television, but first the film at the cinema, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted in 3D,one of the funniest films we have watched in a long time, Alex, Marty, Gloria and Melman are still trying to return to New York, in order to do so they join  circus, all of the favourites are there, the penguins and of course King Julien, Diana and myself also picked up on the scene where they stole a motorbike, and of all of the bikes in all of the world which one did the pick? a Ducati of course! great fun all round, also on the good news front Ice Age 4 is being released next month, another favourite of ours,

back to the evening, we watched a few from the History channel and one of a series from Overhauling where a hoax is played on the owner of a car which is then 'stolen' or 'borrowed' and taken to Automobile Designer Chip Foose and his A-Team, they must rebuild the car, typically a wreck in seven days, then for us off to bed.
