Now Here Is A Rare Find,

a French-made Panhard-Levassor taxi,

the car has been kept in a barn near Wotton-Under-Edge in Gloucestershire for the last 15 years, but it is now up for sale, the French firm made 1,400 of the cars, with 800 right-hand drive versions being exported to the UK, it is not known how many are left today, despite its age it looks to be in nice condition, Richard Edmonds, whose saleroom is selling the car, said, 'this is in great condition with the original leather interior and it still has its meter, there is also a mechanism for the passengers to tell the driver which way to go, it has a 16 horsepower engine with a three speed gearbox and would have gone about 30 or 40mph',

the car also has wooden wheels with early pneumatic tyres and has paraffin powered lights on the front and back, so not quiet so well equipped for modern day roads, would I like it? yes, the guide price is about £20,000, the sale taking place at The Castle Combe race circuit, Chippenham, Wilts, on June 30,

keeping to a car theme, much though I would like a Porsche, I am not sure I would like this one,

it is covered with diamonds! last week renowned Porsche tuner Gemballa revealed an exclusive new paint finish made of real diamonds, the windows would of course would be see through,

Gemballa CEO Andreas Schwarz says the world’s first diamond-based interior and exterior vehicle coating comprises real diamonds, to make the coating sparkle the diamonds have to be extremely finely ground, but not too fine or they would not sparkle at all, how much? as they say, if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it anyway, but for me this is one Porsche I would not like, but in Porsche Guards Red of any year, yes please!
