firstly Philip called in to ask if I fancied breakfast at the Punch & Judy,
so we popped in there,
but just as we left 388 Mr. Tony called to say he was in town so he joined us for breakfast/lunch,
then we all left to our respective homes, shortly after arriving back Mark called in followed by Alex, so we chatted the afternoon away,
as it started to get dark storm clouds began to appear over head,
the wind picked up, then the lights went out, shortly followed by pouring rain, after half an hour or so it was the game known as 'hunt the candles',
so from the film Rare Birds, 'always have a plan B Dave', my plan B was to put a new mantle in our gas light and get it going as the three candles we had were getting low and it was now obvious that the power was going to be off for some time,
cue Diana picking up the camera and taking the second shot of the now working gas lamp and guess what? you guessed it, no sooner had she pressed the shutter for the second time than the power came back! so gas light off, we then settled down to Monday evenings viewing with some of our favorites from the satellite stations, tonight is the night that new shows are aired such as Pawn Stars, Kings of Restoration, Deadliest Catch and Gold as well as a few magic shows, then for us we were off to bed.
