so we meet up for breakfast,
in the Punch & Judy,
bangers and mash for him, an English breakfast for myself,
next for me a trip to the Soi Bukaow market,
as I had plenty of time I went from end to end,
starting at the Soi Bukaow entrance,
plenty of fresh produce on offer,
souvenirs to take home,
as well as live fish for aquariums,
I made my way to the plant and pet section at the far end,
to the fish shop there,
I watched a bit of television in the late afternoon, then after telephoning Diana I made my way to the weekend night market on Theprisitt Road,
a few clouds were rolling in but luckily it did not rain,
opposite the bar this evening a garage was using the space to sell cars and trucks,
more clouds on the horizon,
there were a few people in the pet aisle,
sunset over the market,
there were a few customers at the bar this evening,
the clouds started to clear,
I was joined at the bar by Brian along with Sa and Nan, Mr. Tony also joined us later,
as both Mr. Tony and myself had not eaten we decided on a meal at a restaurant we had not tried before, the Blue Olive, it specialises in food from the Mediterranean, situated in a side road of Soi 8 off Thepprasit Road and is the brainchild of Executive Chef Raymond Schmale, a master chef from Nurenburg, Germany, famed for his Ray’s Cucina in Naklua and running the first class Swiss Canadian Meat Stuff Company next door to the Blue Olive,
inside it is nicely laid out and very spacious,
for a starter Mr. Tony ordered potato skins and olives,
I went with smoked salmon,
Chef Raymond Schmale at work in the kitchen,
Mr. Tony ordered shank of lamb,
which arrived with potatoes and cheese,
for my main course I ordered steak,
with a baked potato and salad, we were so full we did not order a dessert, then home to watch a movie,
