but more of that later,
to start the day we went to the market, parking in the Friendship car park,
then walking across the road into the Soi Bukaow entrance to it,
mind the hot oil!
a nice range of colourful tops,
a few aquarium fish on display,
it must be Christmas,
with all of these red dresses on display,
I finished looking around first so I waited for Diana in one of the restaurants there, then a couple of ice coffees, Diana had bought some mini oranges and a pair of shorts for me,
this stall/shop is here all week unlike many of the others that pitch up just for the Tuesday and Friday,
on the way out of the market Diana bought a new watch, we then went into Friendship to buy the Christmas turkey,
after dropping that off in the freezer we made our way to Tesco, I wanted a couple of shirts,
but first to Swensens,
as it was Christmas we both treated ourselves to a ice cream each a bit larger than the normal ones we have,
on motorbike taxi's,
to Cherry's on Third Road,
Diana looking as lovely as ever,
and me looking my usual self,
Slim Jim had very kindly offered to treat us all to a meal this evening to toast the end of the world, also there was Jay and Pricil,
along with Mike and Riza,
there was fresh bread rolls and sticks already on the table, we started with a selection from the salad bar and an amuse bouche,
most of us then went for a soup, tomato or in my case a lobster bisque,
on Friday nights the restaurant does a set menu of bar-b-q ribs,
which Diana went for,
for myself I went with a steak, I am not to keen on bar-b-q sauce,
Jay tucking in, next to Slim Jim,
Precil like Diana went with the spare ribs,
as we had desserts we had a liquor to have a toast to the end of the world, a big Thank You to Slim Jim for inviting all of us to what could well have been our last night out and also many thanks to Mike who very kindly gave Diana and myself a lift home, after saying goodbye for us it was feet up,
and another couple of episodes of Colditz, then for us off to bed.
