From The Outside,

this building looks pretty much the same as many others,

in Magadan city, in northeastern Russia’s Magadan Oblast region, it is not until you reach the second floor that things inside one apartment look a lot different,

it almost appears as if the owners had the famous Midas Touch,

as almost everything has been painted gold,

according to real estate agent Roman Vikhlyantsev, the current owners are well travelled businessmen with a taste for the fine arts. He explained that the design and layout of the home was made according to their vision of the perfect apartment. ‘the owners are intellectuals,’ he said. ‘they travel the world and bring exotic decorative items back to their home, which is now reflected in this property.’ the 800 square foot property, along with every piece of golden furniture and decor it contains is up for sale, offers are expected to start at a minimum of 6.5 million rubles (approx $96,000), if you think it is a little inexpensive you should do a little research first about the area, the region is connected with other regions by air, sea and automobile transportation, there are no railways here, over the course of a year, the temperature typically varies from -27°C to 19°C and is rarely below-38°C or above 24°C. as I write this the area is in the middle of a heavy snow shower and the temperature is -3°C with 6-12 cm of snow expected between today and Wednesday morning, so I hope the gold toilet seat is a heated one and no I am not on commission!
