The Crows Are Now Calling Back,

a couple of times a day,

the first crow was not fazed out at all by my standing up and making a video,

but the second crow was not so sure, as I am normally sat down at the lap top when they call by, but he soon called back for his breakfast,

then some excitement,

the communal hall carpet on the landing and stairs had not been cleaned for years,

so today was the day that we called in the professionals to clean it,

as arranged Kevin called by with lots of equipment, this is just one of two machines he arrived with,

the business end of the carpet cleaner, (a different one is used for the stairs),

and here he is hard at work,

I do not have a clue as to what is used,

but the first of the wo machines certainly looked impressive,

the hoover part of the kit,

which puts the water and cleaner into the carpet and then sucks up all of the dirt and grime,

the underside of the hoover,

all going well,

as Kevin was here I asked him to clean our inside hall carpet as well,

it was time to empty the reservoir on the machine that collects the dirty water,

and was it dirty!

it was almost like soup, we will not leave it so long for the next clean!

the second machine,

upper landing all finished,

next the stairs,

with a smaller hoover head,

all finished and time to go, we were told if possible not to put anything like door mats on the carpet for 24 hours, but what a difference to the carpet, and so expertly done, if you have a carpet that needs a clean we can not recommend Kevally Cleaning Ltd. highly enough, no mess, no fuss, just a great professional service, if you need to get in touch click on the blue link or call Mobile: 07973 399 254 Office: 0208 462 6563, they also clean upholstery and curtains as well, the price for cleaning was £150.00, which considering how long it took and the amount that needed to be down was reasonable, as it happened I thought it would be a lot more, in the afternoon Diana returned from work, so a beef stew later for our evening meal and it was feet up for a Midsomer Murder, followed by a New Tricks before we were off to bed.

Stan & Diana-please keep you eye out for old man fox with the head scar as we miss him. We did see his relative visiting The Natural History Museum on tour with you guys. Such fun things to think about in old age!

John & Alley

Dear John and Alley, sadly we have not had any foxes in the garden for some time, but the three we see at the park entrance when I pick Diana up, that we give peanuts to are doing well, hopefully the foxes will return to the back garden soon, best regards, Stan and Diana.
