Cops Copped!

how to spend £200,000 and suspended two cops for 2 years on full pay, and have lawyers considered the case for eight months before finally deciding not to press charges, but the men still faced an internal inquiry, the crime? the two officers shared five bottles of Vimto they found by a railway line, the officers, who work for British Transport Police in Greater Manchester, disregarded police rules that state they should have recorded the find as lost or stolen property, but instead they shared it with colleagues, but when the drinks were spotted in the mess-room cupboard they were immediately suspended, now far be it from me to commented on the rights and wrongs of their actions, but surely the powers that be could have dealt with this a little more speedily and at less cost to the UK taxpayer?
