this is the entrance to Soi Buloaw from Pattaya Tai, we go early as there are not so many people and it is a lot cooler,
for every type of garden,
and so many orchids, some for hanging,
another new stall open up since the last time we were there,
on the left a new cafe and on the right more new stalls, these stalls I am guessing belong to the house owners there,
and a close up of the new cafe, it is empty as it opened at 10, just as we arrived, but I am sure it will do well as towards midday as every seat is taken in the other cafes by midday,
looking back towards Pattaya Tai,
a new stall outside one of the houses, this one specialising in cactus,
and the one next door with poinsettias,
the shrine at the corner cafe,
Diana back from a hard mornings shopping!
we now park here in Pattaya Tai, we used to park in the Friendship car park, but because of market day you have to turn left, straight into a police road block! every Tuesday and Friday (market days) we have tired of supplementing police wages, so we can now go home with out having to make a "voluntary" contribution,
a little later in the afternoon, Jay and Precil called around, Precil had bought some Thai food and some fish, so the girls tucked into that whilst Jay and myself had a chat and a few cups of tea,
then it was time for the evening meal, we went with Jay and Precil to one of Diana's favorites, McDonald's, we went to the one in Royal Garden,
cheese set for Diana, big Mac, no cheese for me, the problem is that there are no small meals here, I wanted small coke and french fries but the set comes with a large portion of fries and a huge coke and no option for a single roll with a single burger (unless you want pork) anyway 259 baht or at today's rate roughly £5.20, then home to watch a couple of movies, "Hellboy 2" if you liked the first, you, I guess will like this, and the new version of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" if you liked the original then this is total and utter c**p that even the special effects could not save!
