then it was time for Riza to receive her new fishing rod from Diana, the traffic was truly terrible, over an hour for a 15 minuet journey, all day yesterday and today loads of helicopters over head, even so loads of roads closed, but we made it in the end,
then more cooking!
I am a complete stranger to kitchens which most probably explains why I have never seen one of these before, a few Saturdays ago Mr. Tony and Mike were explaining this cooker and how good it was, well it certainly was when Mr. Tony brings a cooked chicken with him and it worked really well last night!
as all of this was going on I went outside to look behind the truck, a dog frighten Diana so I went round to help her around the back of the truck when we arrived, as we past the truck we upset a load of bees, so I just had to go back and take a picture of them,
honey bees in a bush,
not a huge number of them, but enough to keep me at a safe distance!
then Precil and Jay arrived,
Riza had prepared mushrooms and pork with orange juice, as well as beef caldereta, a Filipino dish, both were delicious!

Thank you for the pictures.
The cat's name is actually Pridi. (It just got changed to "pretty kitty".) She was the sister of two other cats called Phibun and Pramoj (since disappeared... chased off by Mike's dog when it stayed with me ironically). Pridi, Phibun, and Pramoj were three popular Thai prime ministers.
Dear Jil, I will let Mike know, but I think he has christen it Gravy, in any event it looks really healthy and is well cared for, over here the red, blue and yellow shirts have been in the news, but in realaity other than increased traverling times nothing has changed except the number of helicopter flights! best regards, Stan and Diana.
