but the point of this long ramble is that two or three main roads have been shut or are one way in Pattaya, Pattaya Tai, Pranamak Hill and Pattaya Nua, total, utter and absolute chaos! what should have been a 15 minute trip each way was in fact over an hour each way and that was on a motorbike so we could skip through traffic! in a car at least double the time, but at last we made it to Luckdod, a domino set 220 baht I was also looking for a cribbage board as well, but no luck, but the good news is that Phil is bringing one over for me in May (along with some really nice Christmas crackers, thanks in advance Phil), did I mention that it was one of the wettest days so far this year? the rain, thunder and lightening seemed almost non-stop especially during the evening, as soon as we got back and after a cup of tea I found out why I should never take Diana on at domino's! Mark also called round for a cup of tea, but after he left the satellite signal went out so often we watched a few Harry Potter movies in HD, then of to bed!

Rain And Road Chaos In Pattaya,
Diana played a game of dominoes at Mike and Riza's the other evening,
and asked if we could buy a set, like an idiot without thinking I said "OK no problem we will go over to Luckdod and buy a set" why an idiot I hear you ask? I had forgotten all about the traffic chaos the red shirts had started, the problem is that there is also a ASEAN conference taking place till the 10th, which by the way has just been made a National holiday over here, to ease traffic congestion in Bangkok, it appears cab drivers have abandon their taxis at busy intersections up there and just walked away in sympathy with the red shirts,
