North Norfolk District Council Decided To Help People In Wheelchairs,
nothing wrong in that,
but wait a minuet, a 3 foot high ticket machine? what about the rest of us? in an act of total madness the machine was installed, despite handicapped people having special parking bays so they do not need a ticket, but as Pat Harvey, of the Norfolk Association for the Disabled, said: “It’s so low it could actually be unsafe for wheelchair users — they could fall out and injure themselves, it’s typical of the council, they just pay lip service to helping the disabled.”
still there is some good news, a spokesman for North Norfolk District Council admitted: “The machine does look a bit absurd, but it is one of the problems we’re intending to solve later this year when we replace all our ticket machines, We’re sorry if this has caused problems for people.” message to North Norfolk District council, you must be so flush with money to be able to install this ticket machine and then replace it in a year, the question is how many other car parks have the same size machine?
